Since you’re reading this article it’s pretty safe to assume you want to have a great set of abs. If you want to develop a set of visibly toned abs, today’s post outlines 4 essential steps to get great abs as well as get a buffed, sexy body like the fitness model pictured to the left.
So what are the 4 steps to great abs?
Step 1: Make the commitment. Almost everyone wants to look good in front of the mirror and to members of the opposite sex (in as well as out of clothes). BUT few people are willing to do what it takes to make it happen. And until you make that commitment, losing abdominal fat, getting in shape and creating amazing abs is merely a wish you’d like to see comet true. But once you cross that line …. it becomes a goal. And goals require a certain amount of thinking and planning.

That’s not always the case. What you must do is take an objective look at every single food item you put in your mouth and ask yourself “is this going to help me reach my goal?“. if it’s not helping you, replace it with food that supports your plan to get great abs.
Step 3: Develop a solid, all-purpose work out plan. The best way to work your abs (from my experience) is to work the entire body! Step 4: Follow through. This is where action talks and the B.S. walks. Almost anyone can go through the initial planning phases of this plan to get great abs. But only the truly motivated will actually follow through on taking action. I used to marvel at the people in the gym who did those slow to moderate paced cardio workouts. They certainly sweated a lot, but didn’t appear to get any leaner. If you want a more effective fat burning cardio workout, do a very intense routine in the beginning (after warming up) for a short period of time (approx. 20 minutes).

Losing weight through fat burning exercises and healthy eating is a healthy way to lose fat. Don’t focus on exercise alone, because the main problem is not that you don’t exercise, the main problem is that you eat a lot and you can’t burn all eaten calories.
