So to help you get better results, today’s post reveals 2 training ‘secrets’ of today’s action stars.

There are some not so obvious insights you can gain from the details of what these action stars do to get such impressive abs (anyway ‘secrets’ makes for a better post title than ‘not so obvious insights’ :) ).

So what follows are the links to 2 celebrity workout articles, along with what I believe are important quotes from the articles and my comments on what I think you should take away from these articles. OK? Okay let’s go.

1. Brad Pitt Fight Club Diet and Workout Routine

Brad’s diet is the most important aspect when it comes to getting him in shape for a role. Don’t just think he trains hard in the gym, his diet accounts for much of his success in achieving the physique produces.

For his Fight Club role Pitt took on a very strict and consistent diet eating six small meals a day which included a Whey Protein Powder and on occasion some protein bars, no other supplements were used by Pitt, however much of his nutrition came from whole foods high in protein like Chicken, Turkey, Fish, Lean Meat, Eggs and Cottage Cheese.

Carbohydrates were very clean and included Wholewheats and Grains, Green Vegetables, Oats and Rice Cakes, which were then tapered off in his last two meals of the day.”

My comment: Most guys looking to achieve Brad Pitt’s’ Fight Club look focus only on the workout aspect of the program detailed in this article. In doing so they fly right by THE most important aspect of the whole program, which is the strict diet Brad used to get his hard gainer’s body leaner and more muscled.

What you need to take away from this is that your nutrition + your workouts = your six pack abs results. Nutrition fuels your body and your workout. You can’t give your body junk and expect to develop ripped abs with a great workout plan. Sure you’ll get results, but they won’t be what they could have been if you had the proper diet plan. Don’t make that mistake.

Don't let your weight go up and down like a yo yo

I had some ‘technical difficulties’ with my blog theme & new header (long story, but I hope you like the new look), so I’m a few days late in posting this weight loss tips article.

Do you ever wonder what causes the people you see in the Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers commercials and TV shows like the ‘Biggest Loser‘ to regain the weight they became famous for losing?

What happened to the “I feel SO sexy!” lady that caused her to put back on the weight she lost more than twice?

I was thinking about her (and others like her) and wanted to give you 5 tips you can use to avoid making the same mistakes celebrity dieters make. So keep reading to discover how you can stay off the dieting for weight loss yo yo (that’s what weight cycling is called when you go up and down in weight because of dieting).

But before I share these tips with you, I want to go on record here and say: I do NOT endorse dieting for quick weight loss programs. Programs that emphasize fast results don’t teach you what you need to know to maintain (for the long term) your new weight level.
